Luis Alberto Moya, MD, serves as the medical director of Hallandale Medical Center in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Dr. Moya is board-certified in family medicine and focuses on comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Moya completed his residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center campus in El Paso, Texas, before moving to Florida to intern at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
While in Miami, he focused on clinical immunology and HIV. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Moya joined the Baptist Health System at Homestead Hospital in Florida, where he received the James Jett Award in 2012 for outstanding graduating family medicine resident. Additionally, Dr. Moya received the Golden Skates Award during his residency, commending his commitment to seeing the highest number of patients in a family center over a three-year period.
Dr. Moya is currently active in both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. A native of Colombia, Dr. Moya offers exceptional patient care, communicating in both Spanish and English.
